D. Tinctorius - Matecho Morph

Also known as the dyeing dart frog, d. tinctorius are large (4-6 cm), bold, hardy, and easy to breed. They spend most of the time close to the forest floor, in the front of the aquarium. Tinctorius come in many color varieties. Metecho's are one of the largest morphs of tinctorius and one of our favorites sporting their clean lined yellow/black 'tuxedos'. Combined with their size, boldness and hardiness, cobalts make an excellent species for both the beginning and experienced hobbyist alike.
